Remote control plans can be a very fun and exciting hobby. Unfortunately, it can be a very expensive hobby as well. With these difficult economic times, can start a new hobby to be a very challenging task and costly. After almost 20 years in this hobby I saw flying, crashed and rebuilt almost all levels of the market. I started many years ago with an inexpensive and very low air supply. As the years passed, more and more electricity supply to the market. The move is great for small aircraft was electric, smaller initial investment, less support equipment and devote more time to fly. Eventually I moved to Electric Jets (EDF). Very fast and difficult to fly an aircraft that was more in the neighborhood of $ 600 for a package of associated equipment. I really like the speed and my pilot skills to the task. I have an abundance of money investedin batteries, free, electronics, jet kit and more. I really enjoyed the time I spent with EDF, but I have many drivers who have not seen. An accident usually means a total loss of the aircraft, and more damage to electronic components inside the airplane as well.
Jet EDF is not the easiest plane to fly. They need bigger batteries, which means that heavier weights. The heavier weights means more speed to keep the birds in the air. Because of the speed and power required for flight in the airflight time was in the range from 3 to 5 minutes. There are a lot of time and work, is still a flight EDF to get 3 to 5 minutes of flight. Unless someone has had a lot of batteries, there was more time standing around than actually reading the flight battery. Again, it was not the most fun. I have many drivers have the batteries enough to see their aircraft to fly more often, but the cost of batteries, many were out of control.
Over the last few yearsquality of both plans have really improved nutrition and jets. With the improvements, the price has dropped too. There is a lot less electricity prices on the market now are very cheap. Unfortunately accessible means usually a bit 'lack of quality and a less attractive looking aircraft. The only drawback was the corpse. Then I started focusing on the looks of this bird.
I spent the next month or 2 to work to add dimension and detail to the birds. Now I can have a bird in profile with a fuse "full" look. I just add foamsides of the hull shape and scale down. Painted Canopies, missiles, panel lines and other things that really give the plan an appearance! My family and friends spurred me to start with my flight for sale. Eventually I heard of a place a couple on eBay.
